NanaAwards 2022: And The Winners Are...
Over 2000 Votes, and 8 Incredible Winners
We’re delighted to announce the winners of the 2022 NanaAwards, as chosen by the NanaWall community. This year’s awards truly demonstrating how NanaWall transforms living spaces and buildings, with 2000+ public votes cast to determine the standout performers in their respective categories
Best Hospitality - Sorellina's
Sorellina's is a small Italian restaurant that we constructed in a vacant bank building located in Rochester, Minnesota. We used NanaWall to create additional seating in the area that was previously the bank drive-up canopy.
Extreme Surroundings - Social Club
Montana is the perfect getaway anytime, summer or winter. The NanaWall doors truly help all year round by opening up to enjoy the woods around the property or keep it cozy on beautiful snow days.
Best Remodel - Dorchester Residence
Our Shaker Heights client envisioned an entertainment space for her family and friends' gatherings. With the addition of two NanaWalls, the space was designed to flow seamlessly between the indoors and the outdoors, creating a more expansive, open, and inviting living space.
Best New Build - Clifton Residence
We were given the opportunity to work with creative, experienced clients who had an eye for great views and pursuing opportunities. The Clifton residence quickly captured the beauty of the San Juans that many come from miles to see.
Best View - QA Seattle View
Built by the homeowner, this Queen Anne home in Seattle has a beautiful perspective of the Seattle skyline with Mount Rainier in the background.
Best Lakefront - Cottage
We purchased this old small cottage and could only rebuild it 30% larger. The only way we could make this cottage feel spacious was to put in a glass wall. We chose the NanaWall! Best decision we ever made.
Best Office/Interior - IMC Corporate Headquarters
Perfect application for a NanaWall to open a Corporate Conference Room to a covered balcony and setting sun.
Best Education - The Archie Bray
The Archie Bray has been a world renowned Ceramic Art campus in Helena, Montana since 1951. Its new gallery needed to reflect its character of uniqueness as well as fit new additions into old structures.
With the use of NanaWall SL60, we were able to open the largest indoor/outdoor bar in Washington, DC, giving 150 patio patrons - including 22 bar stools - direct access to the interior bar setting. The project is located along the waterfront in the Wharf neighborhood and has been both wildly popular and well-received.
Design sensitivity to the adjacent building areas and other school programs increased the café/commons space’s effectiveness and functionality. By using glazed wall assemblies and NanaWall to connect spaces, we were able to visually “open” the elongated space into the adjacent corridor and the outdoor courtyard beyond, deliberately turning the café into a “social hub” and meet-up spot.
Our office recently moved into a historic space in Philadelphia with grand marble columns and 27’ high ceilings, and we found we needed a door that could maintain the space’s openness while also minimizing disruption to the marble. NanaWall was exactly what we needed.
Beautiful views of the golf course or simply watch the snow coming down. This house is constructed from mainly steel and glass. It produces an unbelievable amount of daylight. NanaWall has enhanced the experience by totally bringing the outside in. 5 units on this project ( 3 are shown).
We renovated a traditional house built by Paul Trousdale in 1942. In our kitchen/dining area, we want to let nature into the usually boring dining area and marry it with the pool and greenery. We think we accomplished this perfectly with NanaWall!
NanaWall has completely transformed this entire home. For homeowners who love to entertain and host, but also adore spending time outdoors, we knew a NanWall from their family room to the outdoor living would be an asset to them. Since moving in, the homeowners talk continuously about how this is their favorite feature of their home. They love having the ability to move freely in between spaces.
