The firm who worked on this senior-living project was looking for an opening that would allow for an uninterrupted link between the shared spaces of the lobby and the terrace. It also had to integrate with the project’s unique “Northwest lodge aesthetic.”
The client wanted a flexible cafeteria solution. For most days, the space needed to feel open and undivided. But when needed, a portion of the space also needed to be closed off for special events.
