What is an Innovative School Tour?
In 21st Century Future-Ready schools, students become active learners who work individually and collaboratively to acquire 21st Century skills—communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. New learning environments in these schools use opening glass walls to connect classroom-to-classroom, common areas, and outdoor spaces. Learning takes place in large groups, small groups, and individually.
NanaWall Systems is partnering with school districts across the country to host tours for superintendents, school administrators, and architects. Participants interact with students and teachers and see the learning environments that support self-directed and collaborative learners.

Most school facility tours are walkthroughs usually done when students are not present. These Innovative School Tours, hosted and designed by the school district, are deep-dive school-day learning tours for superintendents, school administrators, and architects where they see and experience learning in action and on display. Participants engage with students and teachers and see the learning environments that support self-directed and collaborative learners.
These tours are a partnership between a Future Ready school district, the architecture firm, and NanaWall specially designed for superintendents and architects. There is no cost to attend. Tours include a welcoming dinner the night before and a hotel room.
Participating architects receive five (5) AIA HSW credits for attending a NanaWall Innovative School Tour.
In the 2023-2024 school year, NanaWall partnered with school districts to conduct tours for more than 200 education leaders and architects.
