Skullcandy, the iconic performance and lifestyle audio brand, was born on the ski slopes of Park City, Utah. The company relocated to a new headquarters at the base of Utah Olympic Park, selecting the site for its stunning mountain views and high visibility. The location inspired a workplace that embraces natural light, open spaces, and a strong connection to the outdoors.

Choosing the Right Indoor-Outdoor Solution
To connect the common areas with the outdoors, the design team selected the thermally broken NanaWall SL70 folding glass wall system. While garage doors were initially considered, they would have interrupted the architectural motif, compromised thermal performance, and conflicted with the ceiling and lighting design. NanaWall delivered the flexibility and energy efficiency the project required.
Hidden in Plain Sight
The result is an operable glass wall that blends seamlessly into the building’s façade, preserving the architectural design while remaining virtually invisible until the panels are opened.
“The NanaWall system allowed us to seamlessly integrate the exterior façade so that from the outside it was perfectly integrated. Until you open the building, you would never even know that the doors were there.” — Kirk, Project Architect
Designed for Seamless Architectural Integration
The building’s zinc panels, organic stone, Cor-Ten steel, and naturally colored concrete complement the high-performance glass system. A distinctive mullion pattern reinforces Skullcandy’s energetic brand identity, while the glazing balances natural daylight, preserved views, reduced glare, and energy performance. The customized 10-foot-tall SL70 systems align perfectly with the adjacent curtain wall, creating a cohesive exterior appearance.
